People come to us of all fitness levels. We get natural-born athletes, and we get people who have a harder time with athletic endeavors. However, everyone gets the same focus and attention.

No! Because self-defense technique is taught in martial arts, it's often thought of as violent. However, the philosophies behind martial arts revolve around peace and harmony. The moves are more of a way to become connected with your body. We teach diplomacy and friendship. However, if a violent situation ever arises in your life, you'll have powerful tools to defend yourself and your loved ones.

Krav Maga

Not at all. When people first start our Kirkland Krav Maga classes, they're all over the spectrum of physical fitness. Some are like star athletes. Others haven't worked out in years. If you have a medical condition, or past / present injury, we advise speaking to your doctor before starting our Kirkland Krav Maga classes.

The good news is you can adjust your pace to match your physical ability. If you have to go a bit slower than the rest of the class, that's just fine. And no one will judge you. You'll have tremendous support.

Injuries are very rare here. We've put a lot of work into designing a program that's both fun & effective - while being extremely safe. Our Kirkland Krav Maga classes have a track record for being injury-free.
